Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has contacted Covid-19.
In a statement posted on Wednesday, Terver Akase, a spokesman for the governor, said Governor Ortom tests positive to Covid-19.
This is coming after a co-worker had contacted the virus in the past few weeks. Kingsparo.ng reports.
He said that although the disease had not yet shown on the governor, he still receiving treatment.
He further added that those who are affiliated with the governor should make an effort to find out if they are infected.
Governor Ortom similarly urged his state men to wear a nose mask, wash their hands and be neutral and not be afraid to do research for the disease.
