There are actually different ways to answer questions in an interview, especially in Nigeria. A certain Nigerian man has revealed why he lost a job he would have gotten in an interview with a bank.
The man whose photograph appears above is Xtobaba, and a verified Twitter user. He has taken to his social media page to reveal that he once attended an interview in a bank in Nigeria and lost the job, simply because he was asked why he left his former job and he said the truth.
Although it's not revealed in the post what truth he actually told his prospective employers, but he went further to say that the subsequent year, he decided to change his questions answering format, and started telling lies althrough. According to him, he was shortlisted first because he told a lie. He said this while reacting to a post on Twitter. See screenshot of post below:
People have reacted to the above post, saying that many times in Nigeria, it is expedient for one to lie in an interview because the truth hurts, and the employers may not take it. Some people narrated their ordeals and opined that one should be modest while attending an interview.
