Just after 127 soldiers reportedly resigned, Checkout what the Nigerian Army said


The Nigerian Army has spoken, just hours 127 soldiers were reported to have resigned from the Army. 

Recall earlier that 127 junior cadres from different formations in the country sent in their resignation letter, according to Premium Times who shared the memo that was received. 

However, few hours after the report of their resignation, the Nigerian Army has taken to their verified social media handle to make a statement, as regarding the force.

In times of security challenges in the country, the Nigerian Army has spoken, saying Nigerians are willing and ready to serve and protect their county, and as such there is increase in the number of patriotic citizens who intends to join the Nigerian Army, to also help fight Boko Haram and ease security issues in the nation. 

The Nigerian Army who furthermore added that their conclusive statement is based on interviews conducted with Nigerians.

However, the Nigerian Army stressed that apart from the patriotism of Nigerians, citizens are willing to join the army due to the reintroduction of professionalism, and also improved welfare pacakages for officers and soldiers nationwide. The Nigerian Army who made it known that the force indeed has reintroduced a more professional conduct and more, with also the advanced benefits, which includes the welfare of the soldiers.


The Nigerian Army who are nonetheless willing and ready to ease the security challenges in the nation will do so, with their professionalism, and dedication, as Nigerians indeed are more willing to join the force.
